Context Clues Challenge #1

Create sentences with 3 "fake words" using context clues that will allow students to understand the meaning of your "fake word".

Example:  "The flabbergasteroid was so slow, we couldn't buy a snow cone and had to go home.  I hope they get that machine fixed soon."  Meaning:  Snow Cone Machine

Welcome to the 2010-2011 version of the Ghostwriters of Corbell.  Mr. Anderson's 3rd Grade class is once again at it; writing class poetry, reading response journal entries, solving literary challenges, and more. 

Please be sure to check back to see what kind of special talents reside in Room #410 this year.  Oh...and don't be surprised if you see a visit from one of the old ghostwriters who have since moved on to bigger desks and longer papers.
